She's unnerved by the rattling of the lockers, and her own insistence on confronting Colby only to find out how keenly she'd been hurt by the recent tragedy. She looks at Amy Flame with an apologetic glance as she departs, and her voice is meek and soft when she speaks.
>"Hey, sorry we had to meet like this. And sorry about your loss. I didn't know."Carmody looks back to Sola as Amy Flame walks away and the two of them are left alone together.
>"And Sola, I'm sorry I mixed you up in this. I guess now whe know why she didn't get back to us, huh?"Carmody's excitement over her earlier victory is, for the moment, gone.
>"I've gotta apologize to Colbers soon too. I had no idea."This doesn't explain everything. There was still a harshness and cruelty in Lightning Nika's demeanor when Carmody first encountered her at the Divine Mansion. And she definitely got an undercurrent that Colby didn't approve of her wrestling career, and wanted to shut her out. There were no doubt things that had to be worked out. But they were family. They could work it out.
