i mean that element of discovery is gone because there's nothing to really discover when you can just go to a subreddit for whatever you want. internet traffic sort of got centralized to a handful of websites, which among other things lead to a total homogenization of "internet culture" in general
not that this matters very much or anything but it kind of sucks
