The scientist at the time discovered that big rona was easily modified to be highly contagious to humans. In 2003 was the first patent for corona virus. After that there have been dozens of patents for different strains of the the virus and the even different parts of the virus. If we have acted in bad faith, that action is negligible compared to the release of kung flu and the speed cure which is dubious at best.
The virus itself has not been isolated for study across scores of nations. It is known that the normal flu was nearly non existent and that George Floyd's death counted in the record as a covid death.
