>>22067601Man I wish I knew myself. I get really bad in the winter because I'm poor even though I do Software Engineering as a profession and work from home. My life is going absolutely nowhere and the boredom during winter kills me. I know that in the summer I do a lot of fishing and that preoccupies me, so I'll just sip lightly on a Whiteclaw while chasing down monsters. In the winter I'm just sitting around bored out of my mind and I live in the middle of nowhere so there's not much to do.
It is really the daily monotony that drives the addiction for me. If I had a wife and kids the responsibility would keep me in line somewhat but without that and no reason for motivation drinking somehow makes the winter pass by quicker.
