Get comfort from the knowledge it will be over.
Maybe helps demanding or less entertaining situations be more bearable after being sick.
Appreciate things more. Triumphed over something. Belong to the aftermath.
On a boat stand at the bow. Enjoying the size of the waves. Triumph of man over everything. Dissipates sickness with other sensations, cold, spray, sound... More movement up and down than the back. Glorifies what you're facing.
Less fumes.
Suppose you get used to it after a few spews. An hour or so of unbearable sickness. No longer pay attention to things, mastered them, or sickness simply gone.
Maybe given up on sensitivity though. No good for girls.
Probably enjoy men braving sickness or demands so they can benefit, hold and raise standards, making men more sensitive, then more sick etc, then more capeble. Taking higher standards to worlds protected from low ones.
Men's now high endurance and woman's high standards and sensitivity... Both more sensitive perhaps, men ignorant of the cost... Endorsing the cost... Or maybe the other way around, though men make it ok, both make it good.
Suffer adequately in going somewhere to dismiss lesser suffering there. Or try not to cause it. Some men don't care though, just take as much as they can, disregard any suffering that is endured by what they take. Fair I suppose if you have to provide.
Bit pompous or whatever to think nothing should suffer, which by that probably means what depends on you for providence suffers. Glorified laziness. Excuses to do nothing and be eaten by what cares more about their own, letting your own be eaten.
My own may be otherwise though. It's a bad example to make things suffer for your own benefit. Could pay for something by suffering for it. Working to make it's ability to help you or yours survive, thrive...
Eg plants that provide food helped to stay alive, from predators that have robbed them of the food, gotten lazy and eaten them as well.
