It is not only more rewarding, but it is genuinely less degenerate than going up to the corner store for a six pack (or two) of Guinness every night. You also have the added benefit of sharing something special to friends and family that others are rarely able to give. I've switched entirely to this. The only exception for me is whiskey and everclear (190 proof) because 190 proof everclear is for tinctures and I like whiskey.
