this even applies to games and anime, just see how censored many anime and games have become here
on earthbound/mother 2 for example, ness is naked near the ending in the japanese version, but in the american version he just wears pajamas
now there's a lot of japanese people debating about it, with the most popular argument being that it was only supposed to be a cute poster and nothing else.
funny how a lot of young japanese will probably know about ichigo mashimaro now, i wonder how the mangaka is feeling lol
