I am a catholic. I believe in god. I used to go to mass every week but then coronavirus, and I haven't went since. (except for christmas I went). I like mass, but it depends on the priest since some I think are traditional, and some artent as traditional. Our priest keeps changing since the last priest died in a bad way. He was doing someting and his card had no handbrake on and rolled backwarded and killed him.
Also there is things in my country that are common to believe in but the church officially doesn't believe like fairy forts and rag trees and different old traditions, and beliefs like magpie numbering.I like saint brigets day since it is both in the church and a old tradition from before the church, so it is good to keep them things. I think the old beliefs are important. And I like that stuff alot also but it is dieing out and the church not many people are there when I go.
I will probably go on Sunday since it is Easter Sunday because I might go with my grandad since he goes with me a lot.
Also even though I believe in god, I don't think the church is so importan I suppose, since it is foreign to my country. And my country already had a religion that the church tried to get rid of and they have done it. But I don't mind the church. A lot of people here hate it now, but they are trying to say the church is evil so that they can force their abortion and gayness beliefs on the country. And it worked. I will never trust those people. I don't mind the church. I think it is pretty, the one in my town, I like going to mass aswell. And the choir is nice.. And everybody is friendly. And it has nice lessons.(but sometimes the priest gives his own lessons and that is not as good as the bible ones a lot of the time) And it is nice to be in. And I love listening to the bible stories and stuff about noah's ark and jesus's stories. They are good and peaceful, and enjoyable.
