But because of that, a bunch of men escaping that tyranny went to mars. There's a whole gender imbalance problem and type 2's certainly helped wank off a bunch of dudes. The government needs a next generation though and started developing Type 3's with functional wombs so they could increase their population growth-rate.
And women didn't emigrate to Mars because, well, imagine you're a dude in the 1950's where "father knows best" and women are generally subservient and docile and home-keepers and mothers. Do you think you'd want to be teleported into the heavily feminism world of the 2020's full of blue-haired dykes getting you fired over anything? No. And so women didn't want to go to Mars. They enjoyed their position of power.
