I have one of these originals. It's No Way I would ever choose this one for anything else than as a show-off piece. The handle shape is the very reason for that.
When I whittle I prefer the handle shape like in

The second reason is that you can't have as many types of grips with a Wirkkala design handle as with a
>>5715631 . Wirkkala is a comfortable three-grip handle and never any all-round puukko. You can slam your other hand against it's pommel to sink it in, but the most of the people won't use a puukko for that, quite honestly.
