Guys, come on, stop saying things like "kill yourself", you have to remember that there are people behind these posts who are trying their best in life.
These people log on to /bant/ looking to have fun, looking to escape the dread-filled monotony that they've let their lives become, looking for like-minded people to talk to, and when those like-minded brethren post insensitive content and reply antagonistically, they worsen those people's mental states to the point where things like su*cide, self-h*rm or, god forbid, mass sh**tings become viable forms of escapism and outlets for that indignant, anger.
If we all strive to better accept one another and politely discuss all the things that make us human, all of our cultural differences, our likes, dislikes, religions, etc. then this cycle of negativity that feeds upon itself, this ouroboros, can be broken.
We can all grow through clear and level-headed discussion, we can all learn and most importantly, we can all have fun.
