But if you think that's creepy, check out the pic related thunderbird-esque type thing hunting large terrestrial predators. The shit our ancestors had to live through, and the resulting genetic trauma that we carry today, will always fascinate me. There's a reason we, and other animals (you can try it out with pets, but that's also kind of cruel), get extremely fearful when a large shadow suddenly appears overhead of us and gets larger; real primal shit.
