The latest CDC numbers from Stanford have my odds of mortality at 0.0005, so I think that's 0.05%? I'd prefer not to roll the dice even if they're very much in my favour because I've read enough about vascular problems accompanying the infection as well. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I keep to the precautions and I keep my mouth shut. If the address from the President of Ghana was in any way correct, and the option existed to release what sounded like a weaponised MERS virus, I'm grateful to the fiully compliant majority. I expect my reticence will only be tolerated for so long. The fact so many companies are still working to produce competing vaccines suggests it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. If I did take one of the ones now, it would be Moderna, because someone very important to me took that one and I'd prefer to be in the same boat they are. UK's already talking new lockdowns, I would imagine most of us won't be going far this winter.
