But for the most part the island and the people are pretty friendly, it is a little pricey like everywhere else now. Lived there for two years, it's fun. But it is Island life. Might want to go look that up.
You can also import in a car if you're planning on working there under a visa, make sure you buy a nice expensive car. Because the drug lords that live in Jamaica like buying them for double of whatever you buy them for. Because it's very difficult to get a hold of any type of vehicle on the island without government bribery, tariffs, taxes and the rest of it
