It shows that our world need not be the ugly and meaningless hellscape created by Postmodernism.Good point, anime art above all others in this modern age so wonderfully combines the beauty of nature with the beauty of the female form, something common in Pre-Modern European art now all but anachronistic. This is no doubt because in Japanese culture there is still emphasis placed on beauty far more than in modern Western culture
Where postmodernism rejects beauty, anime art embraces it, that is its strength and lasting power because the desire and appreciation for beauty is universal, an integral and uplifting part of the human experience and something post-modernism will never totally deconstruct.
