>1) Your parents should steer you in a direction early on in life, so you find your calling early on. Evidently, your parents hung you out to dry or outsourced your upbringing and direction to the state>2) There is nothing called "happiness", only fulfillment. You are happy when you are fulfilled. The definition of happiness is fulfillment. You will never, ever, find yourself in a situation of permanent bliss and smiles and constant serotonin. This is not achievable, except for drugs, which will destroy you from the inside out. Don't seek a permanent high, you can never be "happy" in this regard, it's a Hollywood dream. Seek only fulfillment. When you found your lane, your calling, you will know what fulfillment is, and you will know that you are happy.>3) Fulfillment is a part of your day-to-day life. You will never find a job, or a relationship or one thing that will give you fulfillment, and even fi you did, the moment you lose it you will lose everything. It is neither ideal nor what fulfillment is. Instead, fulfillment is knowing your purpose and waking up every day to greet the day, doing what you do, spending your time in a fulfilling way and going to sleep content. You can work at McD's and be fulfilled or be a billion-dollar lawyer and feel miserable. It is about waking up, working out, enjoying the workout and enjoying the moment. Looking forward to meeting your coworkers at work. Cracking jokes. Looking forward to going home, shitpost on 4chan a bit, cooking your dinner, fucking your girl, watching a movie only to pass out later, wake up, make your espresso, head down to work and look forward to greeting your coworkers, etc
It is a lifestyle. Until you understand it and truly enjoy the moment, "carpe diem" as they say, you will never truly be happy and you will forever be in a time wasting malaise.
