Thing is, the comics side just up and died. Capeshit crashed on the creator side while the /co/ mainstays like webcomics, indies and euro threads have all but disappeared or exclusively talk about stuff that is old enough to enter highschool
A lot of it seems to be things entirely out of /co/'s control. Smarthphones killed webcomics, there's no turning back from that, but the board doesn't seem to want to discover new comics anymore.
