Yes, people rob every day but it's not just atheists and just because society is still standing doesn't mean they don't have an impact. Let's say that no religions existed. We still wouldn't go around on crime sprees as we pleased because if all or the majority of people did so, society could not form. Humans are social animals, if you claim that without religion people will lack morals to such an extent to murder and rob willy-nilly, then humanity should have perished a long, long time ago with our ancestors.
I like people and I love people. I have sympathy and empathy. These traits were not given to me by religion, they were given to me by the pile of meat in my head.
