>>21952088There isn't anything wrong with Gnosticism, as it is the best and most sensible religion among the Abrahamic religions. It gets hated mostly by online Christians, who are still greatly attached to their religious tribal identity, and who see any attacks against it as personal attacks, by the virtue of it being a strong part of their sense of self.
Gnosticism is a great religion in the sense that it helps wean people off of Christianity, and probably Islam and Judaism as well. There was a period in my life when I valued and studied the teachings that are today called Gnostic with great enthusiasm, but later decided to become a practicing Vajrayana Buddhist, as it is still a living religion, with its initiatory lineages still alive and kicking, unlike the Gnostic, Egyptian, Neoplatonic ones, or the Greco-Roman mystery cults more broadly.
