the internet was something cool to get behind
if you tell people to abandon all these technologies like phones and computers and television and videos and music then youre just telling them to kill themselves theres no longer any engaging entertainment left for people who grew up like this
its like telling people to not play cards or chess or board games 100 years ago it would only hurt people and make them less happy before there was electronic gaming games were still a thing and so was shows and comedy and plays

think of twitch as a low start up tv channel
and watching entertainment is not purely destructive
you could read books that are about promoting communism and end up killing millions of people in labor camps
dont tell me books are less destructive
