well you can puree any root vegetal and hipsters have been doing it recently so now it's a meme. top kek, i was looking up a recipe and apparently celery root is expensive in whichever anglo country the food blogger is. imagine paying premium for a fucking root lol. reminds me of that time some recipe involving ox tail was on hannibal and the price of ox tail, which was considered cheap offal before, skyrocketed
also apparently celery root has very little carbs so keto tards are driving the price up even further
he has a fucked up stomach. he can't eat many different foods and can't have any seasonings besides salt. since i have to cook for both of us, that's been quite the handicap in the kitchen but it definitely made me appreciate how important good and fresh ingredients are for flavor and how some recipes derive their flavor from a creative combination of ingredients and not spices.
