Studied Shannons theory of information intently and came to realization that information in this universe can't be lost, unlike matter and energy entering a black hole
eventually this realization made me realize that all information in culture is just amalgimation of other information, with variation.
What does this mean? That vampires, sasquatches, witches, dragons, Gods and demons, they all exist or existed in some certain way, that information got disfigured and passed along.
Information in brain of a human in particular can't do a lot of things. Our short term memory can only do few particular things to information it acquires. It can make the "opposite", it can "combine with other information" and it can "increase characteristics of information". And that's it.
If you put a human in a dark room, with no stimuli and no interaction then their brain won't become more "creative", it will deteroriate.
All movies, all cultural expressions, all religious experiences and all information is true, just some are faulty due to nature of how information is malleable and chaotic.
In OP situation in particular we can have few reasons why story writters wrote the story the way they did.
>1) Tip off (they're an insider)>2) They're a conspiracy theorist that just combine all the previous information and come up with plausible realityand etc and etc
