well it's not like we won't have to mow if we fix the weeds or we actually want the yard to look good, we just want it to be presentable and if we have weeds that means mowing every week. could dedicate a bunch of time and resources to lawn care then mow less often but that's still a much more expensive solution that probably doesn't even pay off time wise for months
