It's a little embarrassing, but for whatever reason once I start a working it often goes differently than planned, so I pretty much just ended up talking to him and venting. As a general rule I always end up forgetting the specifics of whatever happens during (which is one reason you see many mages in fiction keeping a grimoire or diary of some sort). I got a feeling of "everything will be okay", and had the MOST beautiful dream I've ever had, still vivid to this day in memory.
As an angel under the christian mythos there should be no problem in communing with him even if you're of the "magic bad" branch of christian. That being said, as an angel under the christian mythos, know the general structure here. Praying for casual sex, probably not a great idea. Praying for self love / finding someone to have a wholesome relationship, should be fine.
