The idea of an omniscient God being the architect of physics and thus human life, is just a huge international mafia of dasterdly humans taking advantage of stupid people and modifying behavior of humans on a grand scale. By questioning the lack of logic in said international mafias (Variants including Judaism, Catholocism, Christianity, Islam, long tail distribution of ten thousand others) you are revealing yourself as someone who is smart enough to create and improve upon religion as if it were a body of people except that people are cells (hands, feet, head, etc).
There is no such thing as good and evil, and if there is a God there's a proof that it's indifferent to suffering and death of even its chosen people.
The most likely scenario is something beyond our caveman brains, perhaps we are our own creator just you don't have access to the temporal slider that shows what you evolve to be in a trillion years, and the conditions through which physics came into existence to create life.
Religions are just giant scams and behavior modification systems, fine they can be used to improve conditions and make life better for all, however it can also be used to murder tens of millions of people for no other reason than survival of the fittest, I'm stronger than you so I'm taking all of your stuff so my genetics lives on at your expense.
