Art degree has a lot of stigma, I suppose it cured your love for drawing but do you really think it's forever lost? Do you think you could gather yourself for some kind of "love and hate" relationship with your subject until second wind kicks in and you find yourself newly interested in what you are doing, on top of being already pretty good at it..?
Starting a family without education could be romantic but also scary.
