With Waifu's Collide II in the books and no sign of a new contract former WWA superstar Amelia Atkinson gave up waiting for a phonecall or an email and had spent the last few days attending to her many new responsibilities as a civilian business owner. As per the arrangement the Kingdom was supplying the gas station pumps with fuel but someone still needed to man the store, track inventory, order stock and make sure no funny business was going on in the truck stop parking lot after dark, it had become clear that staff would be needed and after a brief search she found someone trustworthy enough to take over the day to day operations so she could focus on other things. With the gas station in safe hands there was ongoing building work on the farm to oversee and animals to attend to, Amelia had taken up horse riding as a hobby and particularly enjoyed patrolling the perimeter of the property at night on horseback while listening to music on her headphones. It was a simple, quiet life, positively idyllic... to some, but despite having everything she wanted Amelia's heart still yearned for the roar of the crowd, the pyrotechnics, the music and the thrill of competition and not being a part of the PPV had only made the hunger worse.
"Why don't they want me?", that was the question that kept the redhead awake at night.
There was a chill in the air as Amelia made her way to the kitchen, it was 4am, too early to begin work but early enough for an in-ring workout in the barn while Colby still slept. After preparing herself a cup of tea the redhead sat down on the sofa and rested her legs on the coffee table restlessly pondering what missing ingredient was needed to secure a new contract with the WWA, she had not been lying when she'd stated publicly that she'd received offers - in the bedroom her phone, currently set to Do Not Disturb, had received another text message from Antoinette Khan politely requesting a face to face meeting in Florida. It felt a little... clingy.
