I live in Cleveland, Ohio....well surrounding suburb, but still...I put on winter tires about 3 years ago after the first big snow & it was cool the 1 or 2 times I went during the big storm to get food or something but the snow plows here clear the roads in several hours, lay down a bunch of salt so the next day with sunlight it's almost all melted... I was pretty much just driving my snow tires on wet or dry pavement, wearing the rubber tread down. We have been having lame ass winters the past few years down here & even Michigan/Pennsylvania. Climate change must be real because we only get a few bad storms & the roads are cleared within the next day or 2...never nonstop snow for days on end. I payed like 80 bucks to remount my all season and it was fine. Just drive slow or stay home.
