I have lived in CA for 8 years and Mexicans have the most bland fucking tacos. They use corn tortillas, old meat, not seasoned much, and that’s fucking it. Rarely do they even add onions or cilantro, much less a good sauce or salt. It’s not spicy hot and not spicy with lots of spices, literally taco bell has more seasoning. Jalapeños, their staple pepper, are even one of the most mild peppers that exist. Mexicans cant handle spice any better than most people.
I often get mad at people when they say how good the Mexican food is in Cali cause I have been everywhere and +90% of it is flavorless garbage. Mexicans are fucking terrible at making tacos.
I now realize the Mexicans that came to The South were the try-hards, and they made what the locals wanted. God I miss my TN mexican food that was properly made.
I have had such a hard time finding good mexican food in SoCal I go out of my way to ask Mexicans where the good mexican food is and they literally tell me the big chains are what they like the best.
Mexicans are fucking awful creatures and their food is in fact bland as fuck.

Whats also funny is the main indian food that is loved globally, Chicken Tikka, is a British dish. Created from the spice trade. The only people on earth that actually still make their own domestic food as good or better than whites is the Japanese. White people don’t care for raw fish so Japs still have their food locked down.
