1. The Anurans appear to share at least 50% of their DNA with terran frog species. At first they appeared to be bipedal as well but new images have uncovered that they possess more simian qualities even having a vestigial prehensile tail.
2. Their war machine appears to rely on state sponsored loot and pillage, due to this it may prove to be inefficient compared to the Republic's advanced production and support network. Still a post on /bant/ confirmed that since the start of the war every anuran assault has penetrated deeper into our territories. The cause for their apparent recent failures has yet to be discovered.

They seem to maintain an aggressive hunting mentality especially toward targets of opportunity and isolated individuals, though despite some of our victories we have been unable to inflict a decisive blow against them. It is also wise to assume that they keep some sort of mobile force that rapidly shifts from one point of interest to another to minimize the military pressure on their exposed lands.
4. Perhaps because of their continued failure against the republic, Anura is facing a major demographic crisis and has resorted to slavery to expand its war effort. The majority of slaves appear to be citizens of the bantoid worlds they captured.
