Right now it's move obvious in about 3 different regions, you have north east American aka your average new yorker accent, your typical american accent, like you mostly hear on TV, and your southern american accent, yee haw.
each state has their own culture but it's more subtle and American culture kind of overrides any individuality there once was. now you can pretty much go into any state and see the same old tired stores you have in your home state (mcdonalds, walmart, etc)
