>>19420327Kanako had her work laptop sent to the hospital. When it finally arrived she quickly typing away at it in bed. She still had access to everything she needed. GEIST shouldn't be concerned if she looks through the dossiers she collected on the WWA roster, it was just WWA related. She added what she knew to several of the dossiers, not sure if it'd be important, but in the intel business she knew the importance of keeping track of details. Plus it beat just sleeping.
As she heard her 'name,' Kanako looked up at the door. Carmody. A mix of emotions welled up in her. She listened silently, then let the silence hang after Carmody finished.
>...Do you honestly expect me to believe that?Kanako finally spoke.
>You care about me? No, I don't buy that for a second. If there's one thing I learned from all this, it's wrestling is full of snakes. Like *you*. You wouldn't have said all that hurtful crap if you cared. You wouldn't have made that match a tag match. You wouldn't have let Priscilla attack me after the match.Part of her wanted to forgive Carmody, but her temper won out.
>You can take your good girl act and shove it. I'm not falling for that anymore. You can pretend like you came here to apologize, but I know you're just here to rub it in. Oh how sad, Kanako ended up just like Carmody. Her entire cover got blown. Just like she deserves, right?Kanako glared at Carmody, clenching her fists tight. She didn't entirely believe what she was saying but she couldn't help but lash out.
>You're the one to watch right? The big up and coming star? Well, now wrestling has my undivided attention. I'm going to surpass you, without sucking up to the world champion. That's all that matters to you, so I'm going to take that spot. Go to hell. I don't trust any of you in the locker room anymore, least of all YOU. Now get out.Kanako's eyes started to well up with tears.
>I SAID GET OUT!She screamed.
