The first thing people see when they go to 4chan's home page is Sachiko next to the logo, and the first boards listed are all anime. Anybody with a lick of common sense would know that anime is one of the main focuses of 4chan.
You don't have to like anime to post here, 4chan's evolved beyond that, but all boards have animefags and they deserve to be there.
