The subconscious goal of every Liberal ideologue in matters of group conflict is to have it both ways. Betray their in-group to gain the favor of the out-group, while maintaining they cannot be attacked by the in-group they betrayed due to the warrior’s loyalty to in-group. If the out-group wins, then they plead that they helped the out-group and should benefit from favoritism.
If a cop shoots a criminal, then take the side of the criminal, since the cop can’t shoot you, but the criminal can.
