>>19525428"go to heaven/don't go to heaven" is a very shallow, surface level and shortsighted way to view Christ. the entire point of being Christian acquisition of the Holy Spirit through a process of purification of your soul from your passions, illumination and perfection with the end goal of being in communion with Christ by participating in the liturgical lifestyle of the Church and participating in the Mysteries. A Christian struggles to keep Christ's commandments with repentance. Trying to stay in a constant state of repentance.
if you don't go through this process, and are still "going to heaven" for whatever reason, then you will be blind for eternity. Which I guess is better than not "going to heaven".
