>>19670446My wife breast fed my son and daughter until nearly 3. There’s something to be said about it for sure. My son is in the 99th percentile in height and 95th percentile for weight. He’s 4.5 and can do arithmetic and reads on his own. He is currently infatuated with my Dan Dare comic collection. My daughter just turned 3 and is starting to read and is also in the 90th percentile for height but only like 60th percentile for weight. Our interactions at dinner involve a lot of talking and asking them questions about what they think about or like. They hate, I mean hate, interacting with children their own age, often complaining they act like babies, and much prefer interacting with children a year or so older than them.
I know breast feeding had something to do with it, but also interaction. We’re strict on enforcing boundaries, we demand a lot of our kids and urge them to do hard things, and guess what? They do them.
