>>10515727yep yep, i think i agree completely. to me the bentusi felt off because i always got the feeling they were alien benefactors that could slap you down at any time. and in h2 they added to the melancholy feeling by calling them the last of their race and that evoked a doomed feeling.
honestly it's kind of surprising how skilled the homeworld team was at telling stories, because the main story beats weren't particularly original but the storytelling with the cutscenes and the music just nailed it.
did you see the instagram thot that looks like rose? i have a link saved somewhere but she's recently exploded so i won't bother digging it up unless you really haven't seen her.
