The "Tri" in Trigonometry [Three] and Geometry comes from "the Trinity", as the first people on planet were the Catholics absorbed into this frame.
The first person to figure out that there is a relationship between the three sides and the three angles of the right triangle and gets to make his own last name into a mathematical principle that ALL of you were taught in high school, was formally hammered out by people who approached all that from scriptural approach of "trinity" and 'tri' in "finding relationships" between "kinds of objects".
The Bible-Scriptural idea of Trinity was just Catholics trying to explain and teach their followers the Transitive property of mathematics at the high school level. You re-isolated the Pythagorean theorem from first principles. Instead of having better names, and calling these things "Discrete Mathematics", "Set Theory", "Logic 101" or "algebra of a single variable" (These ideas wouldn't get hammered down until thousands of years later, they had to get by with the best they could get, in divinity-school where priests taught the lie that the Transitive property does not hold. One student would come by after class and say: "Rabbi Surely the transitive property does hold, here I can prove it beyond all doubt with this little experiment". Rejoice the satanic brainfog in this one has finally lifted.
Back then, it wasn't fully known if that objects had concrete truth-properties at all, or were merely things that collapsed into existence only after you looked at them.
Here's an MIT professor trying to explain "trinity" as "superposition", back in Biblical times, it was uncertain that Truth existed in an absolute state, since they knew about superposition way back then.
