But knowing I'm in a dream and going from being a background NPC in my own dreams to slightly self-aware doesn't give me much agency. My dream me doesn't suddenly attain the ultimate agency, shaping the world around him, it just ends up being a greater sense of the tropes unfolding.
But when I do lucid dream I usually talk on time. since in most dreams I usually take too long to talk, and by then the plot has progressed without me.
Being able to talk fast, and talk smart in my lucid dreams saves my hide every time. A very good lesson to learn for a Jew.
