>>2457151At some point, I for some reason decided to try to escape from the haunter by moving to a different city for a while. I realized that I shouldn't be surprised if this proved futile; A serial killer is probably way better at going between long distances than I. I managed to get the police to stay at my house for this time, in return for a hefty sum of money, in case the haunter decided to mess with my furniture or something. But as was driving down the road to the place I was trying to get to, a fog appeared. Turning my car's headlights on did little to stay the blindness that came with it. But a few seconds later, I started to notice something impossible in the deep reaches of the fog. A structure of six glowing, blue... crystalline things seemed to be floating about 25 meters before my vehicle. They seemed to be flapping slowly, and their arrangement suggested they were wings of some figure that the fog deviously hid from me. My heart began to race, and I slammed on the breaks of the car. I thought I was being attacked by aliens! I spun the wheel of the car with all musterable energy and slammed the gear to neutral, keeping a focused eye on the glowing crystals. A glowing ball started to appear at the center of them, and began to grow rapidly in size. It soon materialized itself, turning into a perfect seventh of the six crystals. By this point, I'd successfully turned my vehicle around on the wet and slippery road. I pressed down on the pedal, switching gears again, and rushed away from the attacker. And before I could think again, I heard my back window shatter into a million pieces, a sudden cool sharpness - like a glacier from Antarctica - smashed itself into the back of my head.
