Its just that you cant. The times of having to clean out your carb because you get stutters in higher rpms or having to adjust your carb because winter is coming an going or you live in a higher antitude are over.

To get to the battery you have to remove the seat. To remove the seat you have to remove the center console. To remove that you have to remove the dashboard. To remove that you have ti remove the steering wheel. To remove that you have to remove the airbag. The airbag will be live because you cant disconnect the battery.
A battery chance is a full Business day of work for a skilled technician. A battery change.
Only shit you can fix on a car has been easy to reach small plug and play parts. Andd thats nit fixing its throwing new parts to fix the issue sometimes causing new ones.
Some cars you can even do an oil chance because they were designed to be vacumed and refilled with a two pipesystem like transmision flushing (they have a trainplug but better forgett it ).
On my car to change the exhaust manifold thats also housing the kat you will have to remove the fucking radiator. To remove the radiator you have to train the system and later refill it. To remove radiator you have to remove ac radiator and the intake air cooler. To remove those you guessed it take of the bumper. To loosen this fucker you need to remove the wheels so you can take of the wheelhousing covers to reach a few screws.
You cant repair shit anymore because its all so overlapping. I would say 90 is the last gen of cars you could self repair, maybe earliest 2k but after that any action will be more work than a restauration of an 60/70/80s car which id rather invest my time in and pay some nigger to change exhaust
