>I hunt and fish>I also grow herbs and veggies at my terrace and in my greenhouse during summertime>I have an abundance of both domestic and foreign fish and various meats and vegetables available at my local supermarket at fresh goods countersI certainly like to visit restaurants abroad recommended by my co-workers and peers been-there-done-that.
At home it's absolutely my own home cooking every day from breakfast to evening snack.
I don't like to eat restaurant food.
I have these idols I want to follow.
Loving Paul Prudhomme, loving Marco Pierre White, loving Jacques Pepin.
These are all chefs pro hearty, tasty, delicious. Follow no one other.
>the only exception would be a nordic gravlax>gravlax with dill on a bread>classic french kitchen doesn't even have an idea what is a "gravlax" :DDDI have a lot of French friends.
I also have a lot of Finnish fisherman friends who will call me regarding a specific catch.
A month ago I imported a 54 kilo lot (seven cleaned up fishes) of Nordic pike fish to my French friends in Paris. They got those as three days old from the moment of catch, all the time resting in ice cubes.
Total cargo weight was 170 kilos, including pallet, styrofoam containers, strapping, the examination by French customs, re-strapping, delivery with a dependable man-in-the-van.
Seriously, a DHL ultra-fast delivery. A bit expensive, I admit.
