Now I don't know if this is exclusivly Serbian mythology but I've heard about them.
They are souls of the children that got lost in the woods.
They roam the woods at night, and they glow appariantly.
They try to lurk children into the woods by mimicing voices of little children.
They then confuse the kids that are lost in the woods and leave them to starve.
Once they die, they become the Navi.
The only way to kill them is to somehow get their souls out of the fucking woods, if that fails just burn them (I'm starting to see a patern here).
