In my language, Bengali, the words for "accept" and "hunt" are both pronounced as "shikar" but are spelt as স্বীকার and শিকার respectively. Also, the words for "fall" and "read" are both pronounced as "pôra" and are a written as পড়া. Another word pronounced as "pôra" is the word for "wear", which is written as পরা.
