I just knew where to get the ones I wanted irl and had no need to use silk road for anything. All I did was weed and psychedelics and I could get acid and mushrooms in real life so I didn't need silk road. I made my own DMT too. I just didn't see the need for it at that time in my life.
Plus, I was in college then, busy with schoolwork, trying, and usually, but not always, failing to get pussy, hanging out with friends etc. I followed Bitcoin and thought it was interesting but I just never saw it as a speculative asset or a way to accumulate wealth until it exploded in 2017. I've invested in various cryptocurencies since then, even one that went 10x, I just never had much initial money to invest and as a result I never made a whole lot. I follow through with a lot of things, not everything sure, but a lot. And I'm not making an excuse here, I'm simply explaining my thought process at the time. For what it's worth, literally no one else I know in real life got rich off Bitcoin either, or even had any back then. People thought I was weird for even talking about it
