His demands for a copy of the Widow's Son and a paltry $100,000 during the five hour siege stand out as especially strange - as far as I know he was never diagnosed with a specific mental disorder during the time he was incarcerated in a mental institution after the incident, despite being ruled not guilty for reason of insanity. There's very little information on this man and it would be interesting to learn more.
