Dumb furfig... or hoof... fig. There's really nothing wrong with liking childish things, you know. The whole reason people become animators is because they enjoy cartoons themselves. I think this shows in most of them in that there's usually something for older people to enjoy as well. They're making something they would want to watch too in other words. Still, I can see why you might not want them to know

There are couple gay characters in the show and some of the themes have trans subtexts to them. I just think the art style an story is nice. It reminds me in some ways of cartoons from the 80s/90s. When I was watching some Sailor Moon the other day I noticed some of the monsters they fight looked a little like the crystal gems and it made me wonder if the creator had gotten some inspiration from that. Star vs the Forces of Evil is another recent one and they definitely did take inspiration from it
