Just take the suit off otherwise. Even with eye protection this shit is nasty and you don't wanna risk getting injured. Remember: the last thing you want is to be hospitalized.
If you can't find an alternative, consider a sterilization routine where you remove your suit first.
As for the handheld stuff, if you're handy and got the tools consider making something like mine, it looks shitty and has cardboard as a component, but aluminum foil should reflect the light and not let it through. It gets the job done
