There is a kind of Christian Pantheon, they are here not gods but the Angels (same thing, just the term translated and the cultural understanding of them shifting >430228220

God appointed the Angels, the Sons of God (Ha-Elohim/Elyon), over the nations to rule and lead them and judge them justly (He himself taking care over Israel).
> God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods:>2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?>3Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.>4Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.[...]
>6I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’>7But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”>8Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.(Psalms 82)Here we see him talking about how the sons of God turned away from their purpose and became unrightous.
Going by pagan mythology originally Satan/Saturn was the one appointed to lead this "Divine Assembly". Satan took then the role of the adversary, trying to judge us as guilty which a third of the angels followed. However Michael/Jupiter defeated Satan and his army and took his place as the leader over the council

These guys we hear in Genesis 6 to come to our the "daughters of man (Adam)" and mated with them creating the nephillim which often became rulers

In the Book of Enoch we then hear how they were bringing various things from the dividing of roots (brewing potions and drugs), beautifying of the eyes (make up), witchcraft, metallurgy (for war) etc.
This storyline is further mirrored by Genesis, where the serpent, the angel, mates with Eve in his rebellion
