>>13128485>California has always been around 30 to 40% white as you call it.Not that low, unless you're someone who doesn't count Irish or Italians as White but yeah it is correct that California was never a 90% White state like poltards for some reason like to claim. Realistically California has only ever been 65%-70% White at it's max. California was at it's whitest between the 1960s and 1970s. Before the 1880s it was majority Mexican. From 1880 to 1900 it was about half and half with an Asian minority. Then from 1900 to world war 2 it was 2/3rds White, 1/3rd Hispanic but in world war two and after there was a gigantic boom in people moving from back east to work in LA as the city grew and we saw a swelling to about 70% White until about 1970. Now the massive White population boom to California has leveled off everything is reverting to how it was before WW2.
